MIXOLOGY MADNESS
Kick up your heels with this exciting mixology challenge. Do you have what it takes to be the mixologist to win International Bartender of the Year? We’ll find out in our custom cocktail challenge.
In our Mixology Madness, participants first receive a brief, simple overview of some “bartending basics” to get them in the proper state of mind. After that, teams complete a variety of mental and creative tasks, using our iPad Minis and Premier Pursuits®, our proprietary app, to earn the supplies needed to prepare their cocktails, and decorate their “pubs.” Topping it all off is the tasting at each team’s unique “pub.” So get ready, because it’s time to celebrate! Oh, and that’s shaken, not stirred.
The Experience At A Glance
After the formation of teams and some spirited activities to get the energy flowing, teams complete various mental and creative challenges, using iPads and Premier Pursuits®, our propriety app, in order to earn the supplies needed to prepare their cocktails and décor equipment. From there, the cocktail creations begin.
We’ve designed this experience to highlight and showcase the geographical area of your event. A few examples include:
New Orleans: Hurricane Cocktails and Sazerac Cocktails
Florida: 90-Miles-From-Cuba Mojitos and Key Lime Martinis
The Southwest: Classic Lime Margaritas and Cowboy Comfort Honey Whiskey Lemonade
New York City: Cosmopolitans and Classic Old Fashioneds
New England: Seabreeze Cocktails and Cape Codders
The names of the cocktails to be concocted, required ingredients, and preparation paraphernalia are all provided. Your participants provide the two remaining pieces . . . collaboration and creativity. For larger groups, we are able to have a variety of different cocktails, mixing it up a bit.
In addition to the mixology challenge, teams are tasked with creating a name, logo, and live publicity presentation to market their “pubs.”
While the final scores are tabulated, participants have an opportunity to sample other teams’ cocktails as they wait, with bated breath, for the announcement of who will take home the gold medals!
“Matt always comes through with designing the perfect event for our team and tailoring it to our needs and requests. He shows up fun, interactive, and acts like he loves his job, which is a positive plus to the participants. Even before the event, he makes it fun and funny.”
It’s important for us to have a personal connection with you. As a result, we don’t provide every little detail here.
